In our small age-specific learning groups of a maximum of 10 children we aim
to extend the children`s vision beyond their self-perceived limits. Moreover,
being an international school, we aim to foster the children`s interest in other
cultures and languages so as to strengthen their social and intercultural competence.

In September 1999 our preschool was first opened in Bonn by Stephan Kay and Dr.Helga  Kay.
Owing to the ever-increasing demand for places in our preschool a second school
was opened in September 2001 in the southern suburb of Bad Godesberg.

Our curriculum is based on the English National Curriculum for the Foundation Stages which also includes Montessori pedagogy of autonomous learning.
Here too, we offer individual care and support in small groups.
Both preschools organise their activities in the same way within a series of topics
which reflect the children`s development, interests and experience. Regular workshops and joint
planning ensure a lively exchange of ideas and brain-storming between our
native-language teachers in the two schools.

support to each individual child at an early age when children`s learning
potential is at its highest.
